Anna Consumed by the Forest

Unfortunately for Anna, this rare species were unknown to her, the vivid yellow color caught her attention as she walks barefoot in the forest, enjoying nature and the clean air it provides. She decides to walk closer to this very intriguing sight observing it just out of sheer curiosity, she leans forward moving her face closer to the mold and suddenly a rapid wave of spores are sprayed hitting her nose, mouth and eyes making her instantly dazed and confused, she starts falling straight with little resistance or sense of fear characteristically of someone who passed out, her upper body dives effortlessly into the slimy mold and then as if it became alive it starts sucking the rest of the body in, the texture becomes wetter and slimier as it goes deeper,  the temperature was specially moderated, no hints of warm or coldness could be perceived leaving the prey almost in a dream state, as if absorbed by a different dimension.

But Anna somehow manages to snap out of the stun effect and violently exhales the air out of her lungs creating a temporary fissure in the slimy mud, allowing her to breath for some seconds until it closed in again, this only made her realize and become perplexed at the gravity of her situation and finally panic sets in, however she knew she needed to remain calm otherwise she would run out of air fast, unable to counter the ever increasing sucking power of the carnivore slime mold her best chance was to slow the sinking process by staying as still as possible so there would be an higher chance of someone spotting her.  But for her despair the only creatures that spotted her were the mosquitos that used the opportunity to start feeding on her vulnerable bare legs and soft soles. Her time keeps running out as her ankles are now completely submersed under the soil and all is left are her bare feet tormented by blood thirsty raving mosquitos, unable to do anything about it, she tries to cover one foot with another with hopes of alleviating the stings as she keeps sinking until the very tip of her toes are devoured by wild hungry forest.
